On the Dissolution of Power · Shi

From the Prequel through Paper 6, the whole of this series argues at one time-layer: the present structural layer. This paper is the final one, and for the first time the series enters the event layer to complete the full structural account of the dissolution of power. Dissolution is the loss, by a registered power relation, of the capacity to reproduce its original asymmetric topology in its original form; that loss must be given by the relation's own maintenance and registration dynamics. There are two species. Dissolution-by-completion is the demand-side terminal closure that follows when a cultivating power has finished developing the one under power, the positional difference dissolving of itself. Dissolution-by-breakdown is the failure-mode terminal closure of a severing structure's maintenance and registration dynamics. This paper redefines resistance as load-bearing development and cuts it apart from dissolution: the remainder's force of development is entailed jointly by L1, L2 and P6, it is a must, not a want, and resistance is not a necessary condition of dissolution. The paper builds a maintenance-gap and terminal-coordinate model, reading dissolution on two readable faces, the ledger-face and the registration-face, and proves the convergence identity by which the one-under-power's backlash and the power-holder's reflexive-binding are, on the event-layer ledger, the demand component and the supply component of one and the same maintenance gap: power is dissolved by the development it itself drives, whether by structure, when by many factors. The event-layer cascade runs along three conduits: recognition network, compensation chain, and apparatus-substrate. Salvage and remnant-structure take up what follows the event: salvage yields the inventory of a re-formation space, not the result of any re-formation. The whole closes at the 15DD voting-position: at one and the same position, read against others' rights it is power, read against others' power it is a right. The three theorems close here; power theory concludes, and the rights-theory series takes over from the T5 seam. This paper neither predicts, encourages, nor evaluates any concrete political event: structural conditions are the object of argument, the occurrence of events is not the object of prophecy.
§I Introduction
From the Prequel through Paper 6 this series has completed the structural machine of power at one and the same time-layer: origin, morphology, recognition, limit, development, severing, all held at the present structural layer. The account is booked in the present; its negativity needs no resister and awaits no day of reckoning (P6 §VI.6). This paper is the series' final one, and also its single change of layer: it enters the event layer. Collapse occurs, the compensation chain unlatches, recognition reversal propagates, an exogenous load strikes, the substrate runs dry — these are events. P6 has set in place the structural ground of every one of these event lines; the work of this paper is the event dynamics themselves. The task runs along P1 §7, the dominant-layer migration proposition, and §8, the three-theorem closure: to complete the full structural account of the dissolution of power, with the full structural account of breakdown (P1 §9) contained as its main body. In the same register as the whole series, this paper borrows no thermodynamic irreversibility apparatus, no philosophy of history, and no moral judgment.
The change of layer is the series' single greatest opening for misreading, so the clarifications come first, and they are more numerous than in any of the first six papers.
Clarification one, the place of dissolution. Dissolution is not failure, not victory, not exit, not physical collapse. Dissolution is a genus: the loss, by a registered power relation, of the capacity to reproduce its original asymmetric topology in its original form. Under the genus stand two species, dissolution-by-completion and dissolution-by-breakdown; one is development run to its end, the other is a failure of maintenance, and neither carries value. The end of power, in this series, is not a day of moral reckoning.
Clarification two, the place of resistance. Resistance is not revolt, not a class of action, not a posture. Resistance is load-bearing development: the one under power, unfolding its own remainder under pressure, is developing. Pressure is a universal of all power; cultivation, too, is pressure. Revolt is only one manifest possibility of resistance under particular structural conditions; there can be resistance within compliance, resistance within silence, and the criterion is given in §III, not on the posture.
Clarification three, the framing. The central case of this paper is the one under power who does not exit but develops within the relation. Presence is the framing, not a constituent of resistance: a one-under-power who develops while exiting is still resisting, only not inside this paper's main line. The escape and migration of the L2 boundary-crossing state were already registered by P4; this paper draws them as a boundary and not as the main line.
Clarification four, the place of value. The two species hold equal ontological standing (P5 C2): dissolution-by-completion is not the success branch, dissolution-by-breakdown is not the failure branch, collapse is not punishment, and salvage is not retribution. The value lies in the direction, not in the remainder (P4), and not in the terminus either: what can be judged is the structure's disposition (judged by T6, P6), not the structure's outcome. To read the terminus as a day of reckoning is to read this paper back into philosophy of history, which is the first thing the task excludes.
Clarification five, the event-layer defense. The paper holds four things throughout. First, modal discipline: every criterion takes the conditional-structural form — if the event occurs, its structural form, order of transmission, and registration state must be thus; or, the event's mechanism of occurrence is thus, with threshold-reachability given by structure. No criterion takes a predictive form; no sentence can be rewritten as "such-and-such a structure will, under such-and-such a condition, produce such-and-such an event." Whether is given by structure, when by many factors (P1 §7) — this construction runs through the whole. Second, two-way non-prescription: the statement of a dissolution mechanism is neither a manual for subversion nor a manual for stabilization; the ledger is equally readable by the locker and by the reverser, and is therefore equally unreadable as either one's operating manual. Third, hygiene of time and anchor: events take generic time, when the threshold is crossed, not calendar time; anchors take a structural type, not a named instance, kept very short, and not entering the main line of argument. Fourth, the division of layers: P6 holds the present structural layer, this paper holds the event layer; structural conditions are the object of argument, the occurrence of events is not the object of prophecy; this paper does not write back onto P6, whose negativity is a structural fact dependent on no event, and which this paper does not rewrite into a prophecy of events.
Criterion preview
J1 the genus and species of dissolution: dissolution is the loss of the capacity to reproduce the original asymmetric topology in its original form, that loss given by the relation's own maintenance and registration dynamics; dissolution-by-completion and dissolution-by-breakdown are the two species, with off-register drawn outside the boundary.
J2 resistance: resistance is load-bearing development; the remainder's force of development is entailed jointly by L1, L2 and P6, a must and not a want; resistance is not a necessary condition of dissolution.
J3 maintenance gap and terminal coordinates: the gap is the difference between demand flux and supply flux; dissolution is registered on the ledger-face (P6's two frontiers as two columns) and the registration-face (R3 load-bearing), with the arrival path as an orthogonal coordinate.
J4 the convergence identity: backlash and reflexive-binding are, on the event-layer ledger, the demand component and the supply component of one and the same gap, same ledger and not the same thing; power is dissolved by the development it itself drives.
J5 the three event-layer conduits: the recognition-network conduit (J5.1), the compensation-chain conduit (J5.2), the apparatus-substrate conduit (J5.3).
J6 salvage and remnant-structure: a dissolution event releases three stocks; salvage yields the inventory of a re-formation space, not the result of any re-formation.
J7 closure and seam: the three theorems bind at dissolution, the terminus indexed fourfold by T5; the 15DD voting-position is the closing anchor, and the rights-theory series takes over from the T5 seam.
§II The genus and species of dissolution
§II.1 The genus definition and the source clause
Dissolution is the loss, by a registered power relation, of the capacity to reproduce its original asymmetric topology in its original form. Every component of the definition bears load. Registered: the object of dissolution is a power relation that stands by way of T2 registration; without registration there is nothing to dissolve. Original asymmetric topology: what is dissolved is that particular positional-difference structure of A over B, not order or organization in general. In its original form: a topology may deform, may give way, may be succeeded by a new topology, and none of these is a counterexample to dissolution — dissolution asks only whether the original form can still reproduce. Capacity to reproduce: a power relation is not a state once registered and valid forever, but a loop that must reproduce at every beat, the maintaining action being non-omittable (P2, P6); dissolution is the loss of this reproducing loop's capacity, not a single beat's malfunction.
The genus definition needs a source clause, without which it loses its boundary: any termination would enter dissolution. The loss of capacity must be given by the relation's own maintenance and registration dynamics, and there are only three paths: demand-side completion, a cultivating power's development run to its end, the positional difference no longer having a demand side; ledger-face failure, the failure of the maintenance ledger, given in §IV; registration-face failure, the field's no longer registering the relation under its original topology, given in §IV. A unilateral act of registration is not among the three: A may withdraw (P1 §6; P6 §VI.2, the second level), B may exit (P4 L2, the boundary-crossing state's departure), and the relation thereby terminates — but this is not dissolution, it is going off-register. The difference between off-register and dissolution is not in the outcome, since the loop terminates either way, but in the source: off-register is a unilateral act of registration, dissolution is a dynamical terminal closure. Hence a consequence-note: at dissolution the maintaining loop must terminate, but termination of the loop is not sufficient for dissolution.
§II.2 The two species
Under the genus stand two species, divided by terminal account. Dissolution-by-completion (P5 C3) is the demand-side terminal closure: a cultivating power develops the one under power until the positional difference no longer holds, the local grid is released, the relation runs to the dissolution of the positional difference, the account booked on the demand side, the demand completed. Its dynamics are already established by P5 (C2 third paragraph, C3); this paper only sets its genus-membership and its terminal-index position (§IX), and does not reopen it. Dissolution-by-breakdown is the failure-mode terminal closure of maintenance and registration dynamics: a severing structure's maintenance demand crosses its castable supply, or the field no longer registers the relation under its original topology, the account booked on failure. Dissolution-by-breakdown is this paper's main body.
P5 §VIII's cut is preserved verbatim under the genus: dissolution-by-completion is not dissolution-by-breakdown, the two run in opposite directions. The precise form of that sentence is now an inter-species distinction: same genus, different species, different account. The setting-up of the genus has altered no published criterion; it merely gives each of the two already-registered terminations a genus-membership.
The two arrival paths of dissolution-by-breakdown are registered here in advance, their coordinates in §IV and their convergence in §V. The development path: the one under power outgrows its original script within the relation, the old locking can no longer register it, power is dissolved by development. The hold-out path: the structure refuses to upgrade and maintenance fails first (P6 §V rigidification, S5 threshold). The two paths belong to the same species, breakdown, in no order of priority, and a real trajectory is always a mixture.
§II.3 The mirror of off-register and framing
Off-register and this paper's framing are mirror-symmetric. The framing keeps in view the relation whose dynamics still run, the one under power who does not exit but develops within the relation (§I clarification three); what it draws away is the relation terminated by a unilateral act of registration, A's withdrawal and B's exit. The mirror is no disparagement of off-register: withdrawal and exit are real terminations, only they do not belong to the genus of dissolution. The apparatus after a withdrawal may be recalled by a new 13DD hand, and the one under power after an exit may enter a new relation; these are new registrations, T2 re-instituted, neither the dissolution of the original relation nor its continuation.
§II.4 Topological death and physical persistence
Dissolution is a topological event, not a physical one. P2 §IV.5's cut is in place at the genus definition: topological power-death and the physical persistence of the apparatus are strictly separated. Bureaucratic buildings, written rules, algorithmic systems, position-sequences may all continue to exist physically and even to run after dissolution, and this does not constitute non-dissolution; conversely, the physical dismantling of an apparatus does not constitute dissolution either, so long as the original topology can still reproduce through a new apparatus. The criterion is the reproduction of the topology, not the persistence of the material. The full operationalization of this cut is in §VIII: a persisting apparatus is a remnant-structure, raising the dead requires T2 re-instituted, and an apparatus with no 13DD call withdraws by M2 into an 11- or 12DD physical phenomenon. The genus level sets one sentence only: what is dissolved is the relation, not the thing.
§II.5 The genus is flat
The two species hold equal ontological standing, the promise of the P5 C2 exit bifurcation extended to the genus: dissolution-by-completion is not the success branch, dissolution-by-breakdown is not the failure branch. This is not rhetorical restraint but a structural fact: there is no place for value in the genus definition, and the loss of reproductive capacity does not distinguish the dignified from the undignified. The value that can be judged is elsewhere, in the structure's disposition (judged by T6), not in the structure's outcome. The breakdown of a severing structure is not punishment, and the completion-dissolution of a cultivating power is not reward. Every event mechanism that follows in this paper runs under this flat genus: the ledger does not adjudicate reward or punishment; it only registers which maintaining loop cannot pay.
> Criterion J1. The genus and species of dissolution. Dissolution is the loss, by a registered power relation, of the capacity to reproduce its original asymmetric topology in its original form, that loss given by the relation's own maintenance and registration dynamics: demand-side completion, ledger-face failure, or registration-face failure (source clause); a unilateral act of registration (A's withdrawal, P1 §6; B's exit, P4 L2 boundary-crossing departure) is not a dynamical terminal closure but going off-register, drawn outside the boundary, mirror-symmetric to the framing of presence; at dissolution the maintaining loop must terminate, but termination of the loop is not sufficient for dissolution (consequence-note). Under the genus stand two already-registered species, divided by terminal account: dissolution-by-completion is the demand-side terminal closure, a cultivating power's development run to its end, the positional difference dissolving of itself (P5 C3, located here and not reopened); dissolution-by-breakdown is the failure-mode terminal closure of maintenance and registration dynamics, the dissolution of a severing structure, this paper's main body. Topological death and the physical persistence of the apparatus are strictly separated (P2 §IV.5), and the survival of the apparatus shell does not constitute non-dissolution; the two arrivals hold equal ontological standing (P5 C2), dissolution-by-completion not the success branch, dissolution-by-breakdown not the failure branch.
§III Resistance
§III.1 Load-bearing development
Resistance is load-bearing development: the one under power, unfolding its own remainder under pressure, is developing. The definition begins by subtraction. Resistance has no posture as a requirement: it does not require the intention to oppose, does not require anger or refusal, does not require recognizing A as an adversary. Resistance has no object as a requirement: it points at no one, and the development is not aimed at A. Resistance has no success as a requirement: it may be pressed back, it may go unseen, and it is still resistance. From which, revolt is only one manifest possibility of resistance under particular structural conditions, its conditions given in §VI's network conduit; there can be resistance within compliance, so long as B's own law becomes more registrable in the course of complying rather than being eaten by the original script; there can be resistance within silence, so long as the silence is not zero-resistance forward conduction but the holding of a position within the relation. The criterion is not on the type of behavior but on the increment (§III.4).
Pressure is a universal of all power. Under T1, any power that stands alters, limits, and orients the available positions and paths of the one under power; cultivation, too, is pressure, the temporary scaffold being likewise a structural field pushed along by development (P5 C3). Pressure itself carries no value: the value is in the direction, that is, whether the pressure is accompanied by the removal of the interrupt-right and a downward lock (judged by T6), not in the existence of pressure.
§III.2 The source of the force
The remainder's force of development is entailed jointly by L1, L2 and P6, not by L1 alone: L1 gives a static fact, L2 and P6 give dynamical facts, and in motion cannot be derived from present alone. L1 establishes the remainder as an ontological differential, ineliminable, not dependent on awareness (P4): this is there is a remainder, a static statement; from it alone, the most one can do is refute the remainder is eliminable (a differential that can be gathered to zero and held at no cost is not an ineliminable differential, contradicting L1), but refuting eliminability establishes only that the remainder cannot be pressed out of existence, which is a force of resisting compression, not yet a force of development — a remainder at rest yet incompressible would satisfy L1. The force of development must be supplied by dynamical facts, and two published machines each give one: L2, expression cannot be permanently zeroed, the lowest-amplitude leakage persists under even the deepest suppression (P3 §V.4, P4 L2), and persistent low-amplitude leakage is persistent unfolding; P6, the maintaining action is non-omittable, maintenance costs precisely because overflow does not stop (P6 §III), and overflow that does not stop is unfolding that does not stop. These two are evidence for the judgment the force is in motion, not the ontological source of the force. The ontological source remains on B's side, in L1's differential and L2's leakage; P6's "maintenance costs" is a mechanical consequence of B's not-ceasing overflow, cited only because the consequence in turn corroborates the not-ceasing overflow, not because A's maintenance bill is taken as a constituent part of B's force of development. Hence even if at some beat A withdraws and no longer locks, P6's corroboration pausing, L1 and L2 still independently give unfolding-that-does-not-stop, and the force does not vanish on that account. The three together are what make it a must to develop: ineliminable (L1), and not permanently zeroable (L2), and maintenance-costly (P6). Hence the absoluteness of L1, by way of L2 and P6, is necessarily present in the form of a force: the remainder must develop.
This force is a must, not a want. It has no direction: P6's original sentence holds, the remainder exerts force in no direction, the force is present without aim. It has no telos: a must to develop is not a developing-toward-something, development has no terminal station. It carries no value of good or bad, right or wrong: a must to develop simply is dynamics, not merit, not virtue, and not threat. Its per-beat interface reading is exactly P6's already-registered overflow pressure. (What ordinary language calls "vitality," should it appear in this text, can only be reduced to this directionless, telos-free force of development of the remainder, and cannot serve as an explanans; this reduction is of a piece with §IX's drawing of the conduction-norm out of its colloquial name, in the opposite direction, there a pejorative is neutralized, here a colloquial name is given mechanical content.)
§III.3 Pressure and compression
Pressure is not compression. Compression is the reading when structural pressure exceeds the remainder's force of development: at that interface, that beat, the unfolding is pressed back. The reading is instantaneous; turning the reading into a state requires work. The persistence of compression requires the locking action to maintain that inequality beat by beat, and maintaining it beat by beat is exactly the account that T6 bills (P6): every beat casts adjustable degrees of freedom into the pressing action. Under cultivation the inequality is not persistently maintained, the scaffold gives way by design, the temporary in temporary scaffold being the design (P5 C3); under severing the inequality is persistently maintained by the locking action, and compression thereby turns from a reading into a regime feature, its account having an entry on each side: A's side is T6's casting, B's side is the compression of expressive space, what is compressed being expressive space and not the remainder itself, L1 preserved. One mechanics, two regimes, the difference lying entirely in who pays that per-beat account.
§III.4 The increment closure
The development that resistance requires is an increment in B's subject-position or in the registrability of its own law, the interrupt-right standing included; it is not an increment in the output-efficiency of the locked role. This closure excludes a class of misreading: B under pressure becomes better at playing the assigned role, more efficient at adapting to the lock, smoother at running the return-map — this is an improvement in performance, not an increment in position, and is not resistance. Likewise, a movement that installs a deeper lock is judged otherwise by T6 and is by definition not resistance: a movement that, in the name of overthrowing the locker, installs a deeper return-map on the populace is, under this criterion, severing, not resistance. Resistance is judged by increment, not by banner.
§III.5 Resistance is not a necessary condition of dissolution
P6 §VI.6's cut remains in force: the three lines of negativity, the sediment layer, the narrowing corridor, the draining reserve, all need no resister; a severing structure's account runs toward settlement with or without resistance. What resistance changes is pace and route: load-bearing development raises the calibration of the demand flux (§IV), making the account run faster or run by another road, but it supplies no negativity, the negativity being the structure's own. This is at once a defense: this paper neither pins the hope of dissolution on resistance nor books the responsibility for dissolution on resistance; the account carries its own settlement condition, the settlement condition built into the structure itself.
§III.6 The demand-side climb
Development has a shape. B's load-bearing development climbs along P1's three layered sources: at the mechanical source, development is an increase in available actions and avoidance paths; at the meaning source, the forming of one's own readings and narrative; at the recognition source, the rise in the registrability of one's own law in the presence of the field. The climb raises the calibration of the demand flux (§IV): the same lock, pressing a B that is growing on all three layers, grows costlier layer by layer. One guardrail sentence, bound to §III.2's no-direction clause, without which the climb would be read as intention: the climb is the observer's projective decomposition of development, not B's route of ascent. No-direction does not mean no-structure; a directionless unfolding occurring in a source-space that has a layered structure has its projection fall, of course, onto the layers, and where the projection falls is not where B is heading; the layers are the observer's coordinates, not B's goal, the shape being the shape of the projection, not the shape of intent. This three-layer ladder has two reading-directions: the climb here is the demand direction, §VI's mediator regression is the supply direction, one and the same ladder, on one side B's development raising the calibration of maintenance layer by layer, on the other A's maintaining mediators losing their subsidy layer by layer; the ladder's forming-direction is established by P1 and is registered here without elaboration.
> Criterion J2. Resistance. Resistance is load-bearing development: the one under power, unfolding its own remainder under pressure, is developing; presence is not a constituent of resistance but this paper's framing (§I framing sentence). Pressure is a universal of all power; cultivation, too, is pressure. The remainder's force of development is entailed jointly by L1, L2 and P6, not by L1 alone: L1 gives the static fact (the remainder is ineliminable), from which alone the most one can do is refute the remainder's eliminability, a force of resisting compression, not yet a force of development; the force of development must be supplied by dynamical facts, L2 (expression cannot be permanently zeroed, persistent low-amplitude leakage is persistent unfolding) and P6 (maintenance costs precisely because overflow does not stop, overflow-that-does-not-stop is unfolding-that-does-not-stop) each giving one, and the three together (ineliminable, and not permanently zeroable, and maintenance-costly) are what make it a must to develop. Hence this force is a must, not a want: no direction (P6's "exerts force in no direction" holds, the force present without aim), no telos, no posture requirement, no object requirement, no success requirement, its per-beat interface reading being P6's overflow pressure. Compression is the reading when structural pressure exceeds the remainder's force of development, its persistence requiring the locking action to maintain it and billed by T6. The development that resistance requires is an increment in B's subject-position or the registrability of its own law (the interrupt-right standing included), not an increment in the output-efficiency of the locked role; a movement that installs a deeper lock is judged otherwise by T6 and is by definition not resistance. Resistance is not a necessary condition of dissolution: a severing structure's account runs toward settlement with or without resistance (P6 §VI.6's cut remains in force), resistance changing only pace and route, supplying no negativity.
§IV Maintenance gap and terminal coordinates
§IV.1 The maintenance account
Every standing lock has, at every beat, two fluxes. The demand flux is the overflow that must be held down: calibrated by B's state of development (§III.6, the climb), calibrated by network position (the recognition network's subsidies and readings, §VI), calibrated by the maintaining mediator (the three layered mediators have different unit prices, §VI); an exogenous load enters the demand side as an impulse term (§VII). The supply flux is the castable degrees of freedom remaining at the load-bearing node: P6's casting machine is read here as the supply side, what has been cast is no longer available, rigidification being the pre-spending of supply (P6 §V). The difference of the two fluxes is the maintenance gap. The gap is the instantaneous live-account reading of P6's corridor on each trajectory: the corridor is structural-layer geometry, the gap is the per-beat reading of that same geometry at the event layer, this paper uses the reading and does not write back onto the geometry. The asymptote does not appear anywhere: every event in this paper occurs at a reachable place, ρ appears only at the inexhaustibility step of the argument and serves as no quantity.
§IV.2 The terminal coordinate system
Dissolution must be read on three mutually independent coordinates.
| Coordinate | Content | Load-bearing |
|---|---|---|
| Ledger-face | Two columns: the extraction column (extractable gain tends to zero, the extraction-death frontier) and the maintenance column (demand flux crosses up through supply flux, the death-crossing, the collapse frontier); the disjunction of whichever frontier arrives first lives within this face | P6 §VI.1 §VI.2, P5 C2 |
| Registration-face | Re-registration failure: the field no longer registers the relation under its original topology | R3, T2 |
| Arrival path | The development path and the hold-out path; orthogonal to the faces, typical correspondence not necessary correspondence | P1 §7, P6 §V |
The ledger-face and the registration-face are two readable faces of one and the same death; the arrival path is the trajectory's driving type, the path not locking the face.
§IV.3 The ledger-face: two columns and the disjunction
The ledger-face inherits P6's two frontiers, unaltered, read as two columns. The extraction column: extractable gain tends to zero, the extraction-death frontier; the lock still stands in name but can no longer bite anything extractable, the relation dies on the revenue side. The maintenance column: demand flux crosses up through supply flux, the event-layer name of the C2 death-crossing, the collapse frontier; maintenance fails first, the relation dies on the expenditure side. P6 §VI.1's disjunction lives unaltered within the ledger-face: at the end of the narrowing corridor is whichever of the two columns arrives first. From structural layer to event layer the ledger-face undergoes only one conversion: reading the frontier from structural-layer geometry into an event-layer column, the event being the beat at which a column is crossed. The placement of the authority-display form must be fixed here in advance, lest it be confused with §IV.5's coupling sentence: the death of authority-display (signal-mis-meaning) is booked on the ledger-face extraction column, and its quality-source (the subject's identifiability), though supplied by the field, has its identifiability-exhaustion as a consumption of the extraction column's object-quality (P6 final-version register), not as a registration-face re-registration failure; when §IV.5 says authority-display couples the two faces most tightly, it means the same form is exposed to both faces at once, not the same account booked on two faces.
§IV.4 The registration-face: R3 load-bearing
The registration-face is an independent axis. Re-registration failure: the field no longer registers the relation under its original topology, that positional-difference reading of A-as-A and B-as-B no longer reproduced in the recognition network and in the two parties' registration. The load-bearing citation is R3: the operational layer may prepare the conditions for T2 but cannot create the ontological event of T2; registration is an ontological-layer act and cannot be bought. Hence the irreversibility of registration-face failure rests on no account: once the field no longer reads this pair of relations thus, no supply can buy back the original topology; suppression can press down expression, it cannot press back a reading.
§IV.5 Mutual entailment, orthogonality, the exemplar
The two faces mutually entail, and the simultaneity here is logical, not temporal. Bidirectional logical sufficiency means: the failure of either face is enough to make J1's loss of reproductive capacity hold, independent of whether the two are simultaneous on a clock, neither requiring nor presupposing that the two faces fail at the same physical time. Where the registration-face fails, re-registration's non-repurchasability makes the maintenance demand impossible to price: no casting can buy a registration that no longer exists, the gap at that point is necessarily unpayable, and the ledger-face fails with it. Where the ledger-face fails, the topology has nothing to reproduce from, and the presence or absence of registration becomes irrelevant: how the field reads a relation that cannot maintain itself no longer constitutes that relation's persistence. The two directions are not symmetric, one bringing about the other face's failure too, the other rendering the other face irrelevant, but each is sufficient for J1's loss of reproductive capacity, and this is the bidirectional sufficiency. Two different firsts must be kept apart and not run together: the arriving-first is the question of which of the ledger-face's two internal columns (extraction and maintenance) is crossed first, a temporal measure, holding within the ledger-face; bidirectional sufficiency is the question between the two readable faces, ledger-face and registration-face, a logical sufficiency, not on that pair of column coordinates. The disjunction is thereby not two deaths but one death, by which readable face it first breaks through.
The arrival path is the third coordinate, orthogonal to the faces. The development path typically shows itself first on the registration-face: B outgrows its script, the field re-reads B, the lock can no longer register. The hold-out path typically shows itself first on the ledger-face: maintenance fails first. Typical is not necessary: a development trajectory can equally end on the ledger-face, a grown B making the lock costlier beat by beat until the crossing; a hold-out terminus equally renders registration irrelevant. The path does not lock the face, and this is the geometric premise of §V's polar parameterization.
Signal-mis-meaning is the ready exemplar of the two faces' coupling (P6 §VI.1). The extraction column of the authority-display form is signal-currency, and signal-currency itself depends on the field's reading: how the bystander reads that display decides whether that display earns anything. The ledger-face and the registration-face couple most tightly here, and this is also the geometric reason §VI lists the recognition-network conduit as the first of the cascade.
> Criterion J3. Maintenance gap and terminal coordinates. Every standing lock has, at every beat, a demand flux (the overflow that must be held down, calibrated jointly by B's state of development, network position, and maintaining mediator, with an exogenous load entering as an impulse term) and a supply flux (the castable degrees of freedom remaining at the load-bearing node), their difference the maintenance gap; the gap is the instantaneous live-account reading of P6's corridor on each trajectory, not written back onto the structural layer; the asymptote does not appear anywhere, ρ appearing only at the inexhaustibility step of the argument. Dissolution is registered on two readable faces. The ledger-face inherits P6's two frontiers as two columns: the extraction column (extractable gain tends to zero, the extraction-death frontier) and the maintenance column (demand flux crosses up through supply flux, the event-layer name of the C2 death-crossing, the collapse frontier), the disjunction of whichever arrives first living unaltered within the ledger-face. The registration-face is an independent axis: re-registration failure, the field no longer registering the relation under its original topology; the load-bearing citation is R3, the operational layer may prepare T2's conditions but cannot create T2's ontological event, so once the registration-face fails, no supply can buy back the original topology. The two faces mutually entail as bidirectional logical sufficiency (the simultaneity here logical, not temporal, presupposing no physical simultaneity of the two faces): the failure of either is enough to make J1's loss of reproductive capacity hold; where the registration-face fails, re-registration's non-repurchasability makes maintenance demand unpriceable and the gap unpayable at that point, the ledger-face failing with it; where the ledger-face fails, the topology has nothing to reproduce from and the presence or absence of registration becomes irrelevant; the two directions asymmetric but each sufficient for J1. The arrival path is a third coordinate orthogonal to the faces: the development path typically shows first on the registration-face (the field re-reads B), the hold-out path typically first on the ledger-face, typical not necessary, a development trajectory equally able to end on the ledger-face, a hold-out terminus equally rendering registration irrelevant. Signal-mis-meaning is the ready exemplar of the two faces' coupling: the authority-display extraction column is signal-currency, itself depending on the field's reading, the ledger-face and registration-face coupling most tightly here.
§V The convergence identity
§V.1 Same ledger, not the same thing
Dissolution is fed by two branches, this being P6 §VII's handoff: the one-under-power's backlash propagating through the recognition network, the power-holder's reflexive-binding crushing from within. The way this paper discharges the convergence obligation runs in the same direction as P6 §VII's two-branch handoff, but it is not the arranging of a chapter in which the two branches meet; rather, it points out that on the event-layer ledger they are, from the start, two components of one quantity: what backlash raises is the maintenance demand, what reflexive-binding drains is the maintenance supply, and the two are the demand component and the supply component of one and the same maintenance gap. Same ledger, not the same thing: the ontological-layer cut is preserved verbatim, the remainder and its expression are P4's thing, reflexive-binding is P6's thing, anchored on A's locking action; this paper only gives them, on the event-layer ledger, one and the same accounting identity. Under that identity, juxtaposition is impossible on the ledger: to speak of the gap is to speak of both components at once, and there is no gap with only one side booked.
§V.2 Polarity and mixture
The two arrival paths of breakdown present, on the maintenance account, as two polar drivers of one and the same death-crossing. The development path is demand-side ascent dominant: B's climb raises the calibration beat by beat, the crossing reached by demand catching up to supply. The hold-out path is supply-side descent dominant: casting pre-spends supply beat by beat, the crossing reached by supply falling through demand. Polarity is parameterization, not classification: a real trajectory is always a mixture, a grown B and a rigidified A usually on one and the same trajectory. On which readable face the terminus falls is given by §IV's coordinates; the path does not lock the face.
§V.3 The genetic lock
Convergence does not stop at accounting; it goes as deep as genesis. By C1, development is a structural driver (P5): any successfully running social power structure triggers a dominant-layer migration pressure in the populace, severing and cultivating alike being development drivers, differing in rate and mode of maintenance, not in whether they drive. That is, the demand-side development term is not external: it is the product of the power structure's own successful running, this being C1's whether, while by which concrete channel it drives is the many-factored how, which this paper neither elaborates nor predicts. The development that drives dissolution here must be distinguished from §III's resistance: the development here is C1's populace-level dominant-layer development, accumulated from all the successfully running power structures across the whole populace (cultivation included, and the already-exited and already-migrated B included); resistance is the in-presence load-bearing development defined in §III, only the one branch of that populace-level development which B contributes by not exiting but staying in the pressure field. The former is strictly larger than the latter, so the account accumulates even without any single B's resistance (§III.5), in parallel with and not in contradiction to power is dissolved by development; the development in the two sentences is not one quantity. And by the T6 note (P6): under dominant-layer migration pressure, when upgrading is refused, reflexive-binding turns from optional trigger to necessary trigger. The two published criteria together give this paper's load-bearing sentence: power is dissolved by the development it itself drives. The modality of this sentence must be fixed on the spot: whether, given by structure, this being the structural necessity given by C1 and the T6 note; when, given by many factors, this paper making no temporal prophecy and rendering no judgment on any concrete structure.
§V.4 The three-party sentence
The typical form of a mixed trajectory is a three-party sentence: B's development makes the old script unfit, A's reflexive-binding makes the script unupgradable, the C-network makes the unfitness visible, the three arriving at one place, the dissolution event occurring. Typical is not canonical: a pure ledger-face collapse can precede any visibility, a structure with no onlookers equally coming apart at the crossing; a polar trajectory is read off a single face by §IV's coordinates. The value of the three-party sentence is that it gives §VI's three conduits a common entry: the network makes the unfitness visible, the chain transmits the unfitness, the structural layer sediments the unfitness.
> Criterion J4. The convergence identity. On this paper's event-layer ledger, the one-under-power's backlash and the power-holder's reflexive-binding are read as the demand component and the supply component of one and the same maintenance gap, same ledger and not the same thing, the ontological-layer cut (P4 remainder, P6 reflexive-binding) preserved verbatim; the two-branch convergence is an accounting identity, not a narrative arrangement, juxtaposition being impossible on the ledger, this criterion discharging P6 §VII's two-branch handoff. The two arrival paths of breakdown present, on the maintenance account, as two polar drivers of one and the same death-crossing, the development path demand-side ascent dominant, the hold-out path supply-side descent dominant, a real trajectory always a mixture; on which face the terminus falls is given by J3's coordinates, the path not locking the face. By C1, the demand-side development term is the product of the power structure's own successful running (dominant-layer migration); and by the T6 note, under dominant-layer migration pressure, refused upgrading turns reflexive-binding from optional to necessary trigger, so on a refused-upgrade trajectory the crossing's whether is given by structure, when by many factors, with no temporal prophecy; power is dissolved by the development it itself drives, the convergence as deep as genesis. At the level of statement the three-party sentence is the typical form of a mixed trajectory: B's development makes the old script unfit, A's reflexive-binding makes the script unupgradable, the C-network makes the unfitness visible, the three arriving at one place, the dissolution event occurring; a polar trajectory is read off a single face by the coordinates, a pure ledger-face collapse able to precede any visibility.
§VI The three event-layer conduits
The event-layer settlement of the gap does not occur at one place; it presents along three conduits. The three conduits are not three dissolutions but one and the same settlement presenting at three sites of the structure; the subscripts serve downstream addressing.
§VI.1 J5.1 The recognition-network conduit
The maintaining mediators form a subsidy series along P1's three layered sources. The higher the recognition mediator's layer, the more it can shoulder, by network registration, A's visible maintaining action: at the reputation mediator, R4's zero-resistance forward conduction is the bystander maintaining on A's behalf, A scarcely needing to act beat by beat; the narrative mediator is in the middle, M2's borrowed-position legitimacy letting apparatus and writ stand guard for A; the mechanical mediator has no subsidy, A casting directly beat by beat. This is a structural tendency, not a quantitative ranking. What recognition reversal withdraws is the mediator subsidy: the account presents as the maintenance unit-price rising continuously along the regression series, the higher mediator failing, maintenance sliding toward a lower layer, and at each slide more cast per beat. This is the supply-direction reading of P1 §5's three-layer continuous transition and P1 §3's multi-layer superposition in the dissolution direction, and is the same ladder as §III.6's demand-direction climb in two reading-directions.
A single-point reversal is double-booked: one forward subsidy withdrawn, one reverse reading to be managed added; one mechanism, booked once, and wherever later text speaks of the costliness of reversal, it refers to this single entry. Erasure as a network-side countermeasure is itself an added lock: at the limit, R3's withdrawal is the limit of locking, suppressing a reversal necessarily raising the casting rate, the account of the countermeasure booked under the account it counters. The authority-display form, its output endpoint falling entirely on the recognition network (P6), is the shortest entry for reversal: the same display, read forward as authority, read in reverse as a weakness signal, the two-sidedness of signal-currency leaving that form unscreened against this conduit's cascade. One hygiene point throughout: the C-network's reversal is only a change in the object of registration, what it once registered being authority, what it later registers being the cost of locking or the unfitness; this is a topological change, not a moral event.
§VI.2 J5.2 The compensation-chain conduit
The maintenance of a complex severing form is divided along a compensation chain (P6 §VI.4). This paper gives the latch an event-layer definition: a latch is a node that translates an upstream lock into downstream pressure and thereby obtains compensation sufficient to maintain its own subject-position; the chain is strung from latches. To unlatch is for compensation no longer to maintain that translating action: not that the node's attitude toward the upstream changed, but that the node's available subjecthood-output and the translating task it bears have fallen out of fit, the translating action itself no longer feasible. After the bottom-of-chain inequality fails, extractable gain falling below the lowest locker's compensation demand (P6 §VI.4), the unlatching propagates from the bottom up: compensation depends upward while maintenance executes downward, one link's unlatching being one delegated supply going off-register, the prior link's account growing costlier with it. Direction and cascade are given by the geometry of the account, this being a structural sentence; when the breakpoint is reached is given by many factors, on which this paper renders no judgment. P6 holds the gradient, this paper holds the event: how the gradient manufactures the bottom of the chain into the least-stable point is established by P6; this paper writes only the beat at which a latch breaks and its upward propagation.
§VI.3 J5.3 The apparatus-substrate conduit
The exhaustion of a consumable form is not a material proposition but a registration proposition. Substrate-exhaustion is the exhaustion of subject-positions that can be registered as consumable: what is exhausted first is not the material but the frictionless capacity to read subjects as material. This re-reading is supported by three published criteria: L3, every operation leaves at the structural layer a remainder that cannot be losslessly absorbed, replacement is not free; R2, undoing is not undo, the non-Markovian friction makes every swap carry history; P3 §V.3, erasure costs, clearing the previous B out of registration is itself an expense. The three costs accumulate beat by beat, the very action of reading a subject as material growing costlier and costlier, until the reading can no longer be maintained. The structural-layer remainder runs along the accumulation of brittleness toward the apparatus's breakdown (P4 §VII): the apparatus does not bear T6, but the structural-layer account fills; the full dynamics of apparatus-layer remainder are discharged here (P2 §V.5), with its remnant-side destination in §VIII.
> Criterion J5. The three event-layer conduits. The event-layer settlement of the maintenance gap presents along three conduits, the subscripts serving downstream addressing. J5.1 the recognition-network conduit: the maintaining mediators form a subsidy series along P1's three layered sources, the higher the recognition mediator's layer the more it can shoulder A's visible maintaining action by network registration (at the reputation mediator R4's zero-resistance forward conduction is the bystander maintaining on A's behalf; the narrative mediator in the middle, M2's borrowed-position legitimacy; the mechanical mediator no subsidy, A casting directly beat by beat), this a structural tendency, not a quantitative ranking; recognition reversal withdraws the mediator subsidy, the account presenting as the maintenance unit-price rising continuously along the regression series (the supply-direction reading of P1 §5's continuous transition and P1 §3's multi-layer superposition); a single-point reversal double-booked (one forward subsidy withdrawn, one reverse reading added, one mechanism booked once); erasure as a network-side countermeasure is itself an added lock (R3's withdrawal at the limit is the limit of locking), suppressing a reversal necessarily raising the casting rate; the authority-display form, its output endpoint falling entirely on the recognition network, is the shortest entry for reversal. J5.2 the compensation-chain conduit: a latch is a node that translates an upstream lock into downstream pressure and obtains compensation sufficient to maintain its own subject-position, to unlatch being for compensation no longer to maintain that translating action; after the bottom-of-chain inequality fails the unlatching propagates from the bottom up, direction and cascade given by the geometry of the account, when the breakpoint is reached many-factored (P6 holds the gradient, this paper holds the event). J5.3 the apparatus-substrate conduit: substrate-exhaustion is the exhaustion of subject-positions registrable as consumable, what is exhausted first not the material but the frictionless capacity to read subjects as material (the re-reading supported by three published criteria: L3, every operation leaves a remainder not losslessly absorbable; R2, undoing is not undo, the non-Markovian friction; P3 §V.3, erasure costs); the structural-layer remainder runs along the accumulation of brittleness toward the apparatus's breakdown, the full dynamics of apparatus-layer remainder discharged here (P2 §V.5, P4 §VII).
§VII Exogenous load
An exogenous load establishes no criterion in this paper: that fact is itself the statement of its standing. The load is a trigger, not a cause; a trigger does not merit a criterion, and it occupies only an impulse term on J3's demand side.
P6 §VI.6 already set the cut in place: an exogenous load is heterogeneous in source from ρ, the overflow of the internal interface and the strike of the external interface not booked as one quantity. P6 also already proved the internal friction burns out the suspension: the draining of reserve is a present structural fact, borrowing nothing from the future. What this paper takes up is only the strike: how a car with no suspension comes apart when it hits an external stone. The coming-apart occurs not at the point of impact but at the point of lowest recombinative capacity: the load is a recombination test, and the rigidified geometry (P6 §V) has already given the distribution of the test's answers, the most deeply cast load-bearing node having the lowest recombinative capacity, the structural conditions of the breakthrough point given by P6, not by the load. The load chooses the moment, structure decides the whether: the stone decides which day the impact lands, while the fact that the car has no suspension is already booked before the impact. Negativity is not increased by one: this paper books no dissolution on the stone, and books no account on luck for any structure.
§VIII Salvage, remnant-structure, and re-formation
§VIII.1 The three stocks
A dissolution event is registered on whichever readable face by §IV's coordinates; at the beat of registration, salvage begins. Salvage releases three stocks. First, the decompression of B's expressive structure: the compressed expressive paths reopen, the L2 three states whole-spectrum available again; the remainder itself was never compressed, L1 preserved, what was compressed always being expressive space, and what decompression decompresses being likewise the pressure on expressive space. Second, the unsoldering of cast degrees of freedom on the node side: the maintaining task gone, the adjustability formerly cast beat by beat into the lock pours out, and it is scriptless adjustability, the script having died together with the topology. Third, remnant-structure: apparatus, parameter regime, written instrument persisting physically as structural-layer sediment, topological power dead, they remaining.
§VIII.2 The remnant-structure
The remnant-structure is the event-layer discharge of P2 §IV.5's cut. After topological death the apparatus shell may persist and even keep running; raising the dead requires T2 re-instituted, a new 13DD hand calling the old apparatus being a new registration, not the continuation of the old power; the headless apparatus withdraws by M2 into an 11- or 12DD physical phenomenon. The dimensional withdrawal is conditioned on there being no 13DD call; a call means a T2 site. The apparatus's physical inertia lends no borrowed-position to any registered hand: whoever calls is in the registration, and account and responsibility are booked by T2 at the point of calling, not on the iron.
§VIII.3 The consumable machine read on the same salvage
The consumable machine establishes no separate salvage: its substrate account is already settled at §VI.3, and what is held here is only remnant-structure and re-formation. The beat at which the machine eats through its chassis (P6 §VI.4) is read together with any ledger-face failure; what remains, the screening apparatus, the replacement procedure, the registers, all enter the remnant-structure account.
§VIII.4 Re-formation
Salvage yields the inventory of a re-formation space, not the result of any re-formation. The decompressed expression, the unsoldered adjustability, the persisting remnant-structure — this is the inventory list; the inventory may enter the cultivation path, may enter the severing path, may persist as remnant-structure. P1 §7's bifurcation reopens here: which, and when, given by many factors, the structural conditions of whether following P1 §7's construction, still given by the populace's dominant-layer structure. Re-formation is not divided into success and failure (C2 discipline): this paper books entry into cultivation as no progress and re-locking as no regression; the account after salvage is a new account, value as ever only in the direction, to be earned by the new structure itself. This criterion at once discharges P2 §IV.4: after the decay phase, either breakdown or restart, restart being the inventory taken up by a new registration.
> Criterion J6. Salvage and remnant-structure. A dissolution event (registered on whichever readable face by J3's coordinates) releases three stocks: the decompression of B's expressive structure (the compressed expressive paths reopen, the L2 three states whole-spectrum available; the remainder itself never compressed, L1 preserved, what was compressed being expressive space), the unsoldering of cast degrees of freedom on the node side (scriptless adjustability pours out), and remnant-structure (apparatus, parameter regime, written instrument persisting physically as structural-layer sediment, topological power dead, raising the dead requiring T2 re-instituted, the headless apparatus withdrawing by M2 into an 11- or 12DD physical phenomenon). The dimensional withdrawal is conditioned on there being no 13DD call, a call meaning a T2 site, the apparatus's physical inertia lending no borrowed-position to any registered hand. The consumable machine is read on the same salvage, its substrate account already settled at J5.3, what is held here being only remnant-structure and re-formation. Salvage yields the inventory of a re-formation space, not the result of any re-formation; P1 §7's bifurcation reopens here, the inventory able to enter the cultivation path, the severing path, or persist as remnant-structure, which and when many-factored, the structural conditions of whether following P1 §7's construction; re-formation is not divided into success and failure (C2 discipline). This criterion discharges P2 §IV.4, after the decay phase either breakdown or restart.
§IX Closure and seam
§IX.1 The three-theorem closure
The closure previewed in P1 §8 is discharged here, in the same direction as P1 §8. T3 gives the demand term: the remainder gives the structural root of resistance, drift, escape, misreading, backlash, migration and the like as expressions, but the remainder itself is not equal to any one of those expressions (P4 L1, L2); this demand term is inexhaustible and global, so within an undissolved local power grid, so long as some grid still requires maintenance in its original form, the demand flux does not go to zero, what dissolution-by-completion completes being that local positional difference's demand on the maintaining loop, not the absolute remainder, nor the termination of the subject's development. T6 gives the supply term: reflexive-binding accumulates only while locking and is non-dilutable, so the supply flux is, under a severing regime, monotonically pre-spent. T5 gives the seam: the degree to which a position is preserved is the condition of power's standing, and is also where all its readable faces lie. The maintenance-gap model (J3) is jointly entailed by T3 and T6: with an inexhaustible demand and a supply that will be pre-spent, there is a gap and its event layer. The three theorems bind at dissolution; the closure is not the juxtaposition of three papers but the three signatures on one account.
§IX.2 The four termini
The terminus of a power relation is indexed fourfold by T5. Demand-side completion, that is dissolution-by-completion; the failure of both faces, that is dissolution-by-breakdown; going off-register, that is the boundary, A's withdrawal or B's exit; the institutionalized double-reading, that is the seam-exit, the position neither dying nor going off-register but fixed on the double-reading of power and right. The first two are dissolution. The four termini are not equally reachable from different starting forms: a locked relation reaching the seam must first pass through the release branch, the double-reading requiring the position to bear the interrupt-right standing, of which locking is precisely the removal. The four termini are an index, not a menu, and are not to be read as four equally reachable exits.
§IX.3 The voting-position
This paper's so-called 15DD voting right is, first, a structural position, the voting-position: the institutionalized position at which a subject retains the interrupt-right standing within a group pressure field. Whether and how an actual institution approaches this structural position is not within this paper's evaluation; the anchor is a structural type, not an institutional instance.
At this position, the T5 duality is institutionalized into the double-reading of one and the same thing. At one and the same position, read against others' right it is power: my one vote takes part in changing the common outcome. Read against others' power it is a right: the majority of others cannot fold my position into an uninterrupted forward conduction. One and the same vote: against the common outcome it is power, against group pressure it is a right. The position is fixed on the double-reading and persists with no lock required: what maintains it is not casting but mutual registration itself, this being the institutionalized form of 15DD mutual registration (P1 §5). The no-lock here must be distinguished from §III.3's T6 billing, with which it does not conflict: what T6 bills is unidirectional locking, A unilaterally pressing B into the return-map, requiring A to cast beat by beat; what the voting-position maintains is mutual registration, no party unidirectionally pressing down the other, any party's attempt at unidirectional locking being pushed back by the other's interrupt-right standing. No-lock is not no-maintenance but no unidirectional-locking casting; the cost of maintenance is distributed by the symmetric structure itself, borne by no party alone, and this is precisely where 15DD mutual registration differs from 13DD unidirectional locking.
The resistance and dissolution at the anchor are read by this paper's criteria. Public-opinion pressure is the group C-network's pressure on the individual B, a universal, not necessarily ill; its severing form is the interpretation-locking of S1's fourth level: not forbidding B to vote, but fixing B's interpretive return-map of its own reasons for voting. Resistance is the one-under-pressure developing its own readings under this pressure, with no posture of opposition required, the increment in the registrability of the reading, J2's closure applying. What is dissolved is the zero-resistance forward-conduction group norm (R4; colloquial language might call it blind following, a term this paper does not use hereafter): its dissolution consists in the change in the distribution of conductive resistance, not in mobilization; a mobilization that installs a new lock is judged otherwise by T6, that being a new severing, not the dissolution here.
The anchor does not serve as an argument that democracy is the natural terminus of power. The voting-position is only one symmetric coincidence of the T5 seam, not the end of history, not a moral victory; this paper evaluates no institution's merit, gives no institutional recommendation, and neither predicts, encourages, nor evaluates any concrete political event.
§IX.4 The seam-exit and the exclusion
The rights-theory series takes over from here. A right is not some other thing outside power: a right is the subject-position-preservation read off the same T5 seam from B's side, power is the structural efficacy read off the same seam from the acting side; one seam, two series, each reading one face. The opening of the cross-papers and the rights-theory series is registered in the series outline; this paper leaves only the exit. The series ends at 15DD: the destination of the concept of power at 16DD and above is outside this series' range, left to the cross-papers, this being the final paper's restatement.
> Criterion J7. Closure and seam. T3 (the demand term inexhaustible and global), T6 (the supply term self-consuming and accumulating only while locking), T5 (the seam) bind at dissolution: the gap model is jointly entailed by T3 and T6, and the terminus of a power relation is indexed fourfold by T5, demand-side completion being dissolution-by-completion, the failure of both faces dissolution-by-breakdown, going off-register the boundary, the institutionalized double-reading the seam-exit, the first two being dissolution, discharging P1 §8's three-theorem closure; the four termini are not equally reachable from different starting forms, a locked relation reaching the seam first passing through the release branch, the four termini an index, not a menu. The closing anchor is the 15DD voting-position: this paper's so-called voting right is first a structural position, the institutionalized position at which a subject retains the interrupt-right standing within a group pressure field, whether and how an actual institution approaches it not within this paper's evaluation; at one and the same position, read against others' right it is power, read against others' power it is a right, the institutionalization of the T5 duality, the position fixed on the double-reading and persisting with no lock required; resistance is the one-under-pressure developing its own readings under interpretation-locking pressure (S1's fourth level), with no posture of opposition; what is dissolved is the zero-resistance forward-conduction group norm (R4, neutral throughout), its dissolution consisting in the change in the distribution of conductive resistance, not in mobilization, a mobilization that installs a new lock judged otherwise by T6. The anchor does not serve as an argument that democracy is the natural terminus of power, being only one symmetric coincidence of the T5 seam, neither predicting, encouraging, nor evaluating any concrete political event. The rights-theory series takes over from here: a right is the subject-position-preservation read off the same T5 seam from B's side. The series ends at 15DD, the 16DD exclusion restated.
§IX.5 Series retrospect and close
The seven papers close here. The Prequel cleared the term, P1 established the source, P2 the morphology, P3 recognition, P4 the limit, P5 development, P6 severing, this paper dissolution. The machine is one machine: T1 through T6 set the bones, the criterion groups M, R, L, C, S set the flesh, the J series closes it off; not one criterion has prophesied any event, and each only states, if it occurs, it must be thus.
The close is on one sentence. Severing is not dissolved by being resisted but by the subject-position it cannot help but preserve; the dissolution of cultivation is not a being-ended but the positional difference's self-dissolution once development runs to its end (C3). The end of power is not victory or defeat; it is the condition under which power preserves a subject-position, undone by the subject's development. The series originates in the asymmetry of 13DD and ends in the double-reading of the 15DD seam.
Acknowledgments
This series stands in duality with the SAE Moral Law series, the latter developed by the present author together with Zesi Chen. This paper has benefited from the divergence, outline, and body-text audit opinions provided by the four-AI collaborative research methodology (Zilu, Zigong, Zixia, Gongxihua). A blind divergence round (a unified prompt carrying no skeleton) converged, on the cut of the criteria, onto a common skeleton: dissolution as a genus with dissolution-by-completion and dissolution-by-breakdown as its two species, resistance as load-bearing development cut apart from dissolution, the two-branch convergence, the three event-layer conduits, the voting-position close. At the outline stage the four parties' revisions were integrated, among them the rewriting of the maintenance-gap and terminal-coordinate model from a single-frontier model into a ledger-face (two columns inheriting P6's two frontiers) and a registration-face (R3 load-bearing) plus an orthogonal arrival-path coordinate, the rewriting of convergence from chapter juxtaposition into a same-ledger-not-same-thing accounting identity, the changing of resistance's source-of-force from entailment by L1 alone to joint entailment by L1, L2 and P6, and the subscripting of J5. At the body stage, further, the demotion of the source-of-force's first leg from an independent reductio to a static L1 statement, the genetic lock's return to C1's range, the splitting of the authority-display form's placement between the extraction column and exposure to both faces, the fixing of the synchronic mutual entailment as bidirectional logical sufficiency with the two pairs of firsts separated, the qualification of the demand term to an undissolved local grid, and the cooling of several heated phrasings into structural-ledger language. Gongxihua gave the outline final sign-off and the body-text final sign-off.
